SECOND INTAKE OF YEAR 1 STUDENTS

This morning 80 new year one students registered at our college. They are the second intake of students.

NEW FACEBOOK ACCOUNT FOR KVSM

Beginning on February 1, the old Facebook account for KVSM will be deleted as a new one has been created.  It will be administered by Cik Siti Mariam and Miss Cheah.

TAKLIMAT PENGOPERASIAN KOLEJ VOKASIONAL

 There was a briefing for the lecturers from the 8 vocational colleges and 2 technical schools in Perak titled: "Pengoperasian Kolej Vokasional" (Operations of a Vocational College) at KVSM today.  It was attended by the deputy directors and heads of departments from the respective colleges and schools.
As our college is the only pioneer vocational college in Perak, we were tasked with sharing information about the operations with regards to time tabling, academics and assessment.

SPRUCING UP THE HERB GARDEN

 Last week we had a holiday on Thursday because of Maulidur Rasul.  I took the opportunity to spruce up the Herb Garden with 5 of our Year 1 college students.  

 The Herb Garden looks much neater after we spent some time doing the weeding and cleaning up.
Below you can see the boys hard at work helping to do the gardening.

HERBS FOR SALIHIN'S MOTHER

Last Friday Salihin came and asked me if I could gather some herbs for a herbal bath for his mother who was having some health problems.   Of course I was ready to help.  Salihin said that his mother had joint pains and was feeling lethargic.
In the pictures above you can see Salihin and I gathering the herbs for the bath.  In the last two pictures you can see me with Salihin's mother. I met with her to give her instructions on how to prepare the herbs for the bath and also some recipes for other herbal remedies.

2013 RM100 ASSISTANCE FOR SCHOOL STUDENTS

Last Friday the RM100 assistance from the government was disbursed to the students of Kolej Vokasional Seri Manjung.  The parents or guardians of the students came and collected the money.

BENCHMARK VISIT BY LECTURERS OF KV SUNGAI BULOH

We received 5 lecturers from KV Sungai Buloh today.  They had come for a benchmark visit to our college.

PROGRAM TRANSFORMASI MINDA

There were more briefings by the Heads of Departments and Units this morning for the new college students.  These briefings are part of the "Program Transformasi Minda".

GETTING RESULTS SLIPS

Our Year 2 students received the results slips for their assessment examinations this morning.  The slips were given out by Encik Daniel and his colleagues from the college examination committee.
