Work to upgrade the Herb Garden is still ongoing.  Last week Encik Megat, Encik Salleh and Encik Mansur were hard at work laying the bricks to build a barricade to line the pathway.

MAKING SIGNBOARDS FOR LIBRARY AND HERB GARDEN

This afternoon Encik Hasrt from Astiara Design came to take measurements for two signboards; one for the library and another for the herb garden.  The signboards are sponsored by Dato' Kong Cho Ha, the Minister of Transport.

BEAUTIFYING THE HERB GARDEN

Some of the college staff, cleaners and I are busy sprucing up the Herb Garden at the moment. Even Puan Asiah took time off from keying in the data for the Automation system to help out. We all agree that it is great to be at one with nature. It is indeed therapeutic to be working out in the open being surrounded by greenery.

We started with a two day gotong royong to prune and clean the herb garden last week.

This week we are carrying out the beautification programme. We started work yesterday by rearranging the pots of flowers and replanting them.

Today Encik Megat, Encik Salleh and Encik Mansur are using bricks to decorate the Taman Herba. Earlier in the day a few of the staff helped to replant some of the herbs in the garden.

HISTORY IN THE MAKING

The Form 5 students sat for their last paper on Thursday and as they left the examination hall, they jumped for joy . This was a historic moment for them and for the college as they were the last batch of students sitting for the SPM examination. 2012 was a transitional year as we had the first batch of college students and also the last batch of school students.
We at KVSM had indeed faced a lot of disruptions in our work schedules in order to make way for the transformational process to change from a vocational school to college.  This is history in the making for Kolej Vokasional Seri Manjung.
